RECIPROCATING PLUNGER PUMPS - FEATURES

Fluid Ends - Key Features

  • Superior valve and packing life.

  • One unitized stainless steel manifold includes suction and discharge functions.

  • Fluid manifold is fatigue-proof design that is not exposed to cyclic pressures.

  • Cartridge style sub-assemblies provide the minimum number of loose parts during assembly and servicing.

  • Valves and valve seats for suction and discharge functions combined into one subassembly per cylinder including 100% of valve wear parts and wear surfaces.

  • Pump valves are easily changed by loosening 8 manifold bolts (triplex pumps; 12 bolts for quintuplex pumps).

  • Hydraulic valve seat pullers and slide hammers are never required to service the fluid end.

  • Digital torque tools available to tighten manifold bolts and stuffing box gland nuts.  Hammer wrenches and sledge hammers are easily avoided for maximum personnel safety.

  • Quick change packing is easily changed in 5 minutes per cylinder without dropping the manifold.

  • Cranes, forklifts and similar lifting equipment are not required to service, repair, or rebuild the fluid end.

  • 100% complete rebuild of fluid end in about 20 minutes.

  • Note:  Products in development.  Not for sale at this time.  Contact Dynamik Fluid Power for more information.

  • Connecting rods: Ductile iron casting with automotive style split bearing.

  • Crossheads: Ductile iron casting with heavy duty wrist pin.

  • Crosshead extensions: Heat treated stainless steel with Dynamik collet connection.

  • Crosshead extension seals: High performance oil seals.

  • Crankshaft bearings: Heavy duty roller bearings with L10 life per API 674.

  • Gearbox: Optional gear drive reduction (eliminates need for belt drive).

RECIPROCATING PLUNGER PUMPS - FAMILY

Key Features

  • Dynamik Fluid Power reciprocating plunger pumps combine Dynamik's advanced fluid end designs with power end assemblies sourced from our business partner, KERR Pumps and Flow Valve.

  • Dynamik's advanced fluid end designs provide superior efficiency compared to conventional reciprocating pumps for 5% to 24% reduction in energy usage, operating costs, and reduced carbon footprint.

  • Dynamik's advanced fluid end is the most user-friendly pump design ever developed, with dramatically reduced number of loose parts during fluid end rebuilds compared to any competing reciprocating pumps.

  • Dynamik's simple and elegant fluid end design is very easy to rebuild, minimizing downtime and allowing standard pump operations personnel to perform all routine servicing of pump including complete fluid end rebuilds.

  • Specially qualified pump technicians are NOT required to rebuild this pump.  Any person with average mechanical skills who can change a tire or change the oil on their car can be easily trained to service and rebuild this fluid end.

  • Cranes, forklifts and similar lifting equipment are not required or used for routine fluid end rebuilds.

  • Note:  Products in development.  Not for sale at this time.  Contact Dynamik Fluid Power for more information.

Dynamik RECIPROCATING PUMPS - Advantages

Superior energy efficiency

The majority of reciprocating pumps are older legacy designs that date back 50 to 100 years when energy efficiency was not a factor in the equipment design.  Conventional reciprocating pumps for very high pressures have poor volumetric efficiency which directly affects energy efficiency.  Most competing pump manufacturers do not design their pumps for improved energy efficiency.  Competing manufacturers rarely provide efficiency ratings and may not do any energy efficiency testing.

Dynamik reciprocating pumps are designed to provide the optimum balance of high volumetric efficiency,  efficient suction and discharge valve flow with minimal pressure drop, superior valve seating performance, and maximum packing / plunger efficiency.

Dynamik reciprocating pumps provide superior energy efficiency and reduced operating costs versus any competing pumps.

Reduced downtime

Dynamik reciprocating pumps provide substantially reduced downtime versus competing pumps through best-in-class packing, plunger and valve life combined with absolute minimum downtime for packing replacement and fluid end servicing.

Ease of service

Dynamik's reciprocating pumps are the most user friendly design ever  developed, with 20% fewer loose parts during fluid end rebuilds than the leading waterjet-only pumps, and 85% fewer loose parts during rebuilds than conventional reciprocating pumps.

Dynamik is the first company to design a quick rebuild fluid end for salt water and chemical service, and achieves this with major improvements to user-friendliness over the leading waterjet-only pumps.

Reduced repair costs

Dynamik's fatigue proof fluid end design eliminates costs for cracked manifolds and stuffing boxes, even in the most severe service and highest pressure applications.   Stuffing boxes are not subject to degradation of sealing surfaces that affect some ultra high pressure designs, and therefore provide thousands of hours of life without need for recurring replacement.

Dynamik reciprocating pump valve assemblies are designed to be rebuildable, and can be disassembled and relapped or put on lathe to re-machine the valve sealing surfaces.  Unlike some popular waterjet pump designs where the valve is a throw-away item, the Dynamik valve assemblies can be lathe re-machined a minimum of 3 times, and Dynamik will provide re-cutting details to the purchaser.  Dynamik will also provide pump valve refurbishment service directly and through our network of distributors and affiliates.
